SWU Global Engagement 2024
Spring Break 2024, PANAMA TEAM (March 2 - 8, 2024)
- Destination: Panama
- Dates: Depart- 3/2, Return- 3/8
- Approximate Cost: $1800 (includes airfare, ground transportation, meals, lodging and ministry costs)
- Team Leader: Christy Van Steenburg (Global Engagement Coordinator)
- Team: Open to faculty, staff, and students
- Team Size: 8-12
- Mission: We will be partnering with the Panamanian Wesleyan Church, working with children, teens, and young adults to encounter God, explore culture, engage in eternal relationships.

Summer 2024, ROMANIA TEAM (July 25/26 - August 5/6)
- Destination: Romania
- Dates: Depart- 7/25 or 7/26, Return- 8/5 or 8/6
- Approximate Cost: $2900 (includes airfare, ground transportation, meals, lodging and ministry costs)
- Team Leader: Professor Joey Turner (Assistant Professor of Human Services and Coordinator of Studies and Internships for Human Services)
- Team: Open students, faculty, and staff (our primary desire is to fill the spots with students first)
- Team Size: 8-10
- Mission: We will be partnering with a local Baptist Church. Specifically serving alongside the local leaders for a children's camp and teen activities. With a main purpose to encounter God, explore culture, engage in eternal relationships.
