SWU Science & Mission Panama Team (March 6 - 12)

Destination: Panama
Dates: Depart- March 6th Return- March 12th
Approximate Cost: $2000 (includes airfare, ground transportation, insurance, meals, lodging, and ministry costs)
Team Leaders: Christy Van Steenburg (Global Engagement Coordinator) and SWU Employee

Team Size: 10-12
Mission: The SWU Panama Engagement Team will serve alongside a Panama Wesleyan Church. In cooperation with the Panama district mission, SWU will serve with a local church that serves communities where the Guna people live. We will have the opportunity to partner with the local church's vision and mission for their community, using evangelism, children and teen ministries, and leadership development as our connection point. We will have the opportunity to encourage the leaders and pastors of the church.
Requirements: Have a current passport (must have at least 6 months until it expires), attend fundraising training and raise all your funds, attend pre-field training, attend all team meetings, and have an attitude of learning throughout the pre-field, on-the-field, and debriefing times.
