Description
An integrated course in observation, participation, conference, and actual teaching; class management and modern methods of teaching; planning, instruction, supervised study, uses of standard tests, and individual instruction. Requires fifteen weeks of observation and teaching in the public schools . Each student is assigned to one teacher for 70% of the time and a second teacher for the remaining 30%.
A maximum of thirteen hours of credit may be earned during the semester the student is enrolled in EDUC 4609 (including the nine hours for Directed Teaching). Students are responsible for their own transportation. P/NC
